Meet Myeoshe'
Myeoshe’ Marie Edwards is the CEO and Founder of F.A.C.E, which stands for “fearless, artistic, charisma, and elegance”. This 501c(3) non-profit organization empowers and strengthens children of all ages to become fearless, independent, and assertive. encourages youth to be comfortable in their own skin and teaches that their power is within themselves. For Edwards it was definitely pain that introduced her to her divine calling, so she validates kids by motivating them to not make the same mistakes that she made. She gives hope to her mentees who stumble and fall through adolescence but influences them to get back up and try again. Edwards was born and raised in South Los Angeles. Edwards’ upbringing was a struggle being raised by her grandparents and being raped at 13 years old. The low esteem she experienced brought a lack of self-love that leads to a lifestyle of professional stripping, unhealthy relationships, and other challenges. A beautiful soul and a passionate individual, Edwards loves to give back to her community. Her favorite saying is “there is beauty in the struggle”. Through her struggle and personal testimony is where she found her purpose.
After receiving her diploma from King Drew Magnet High School of Medicine and Science in 2004, Edwards decided to further her education. She received an Associate’s of Arts degree in Ministry at Southern California School of Ministry in June 2017. Edwards also received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ministry from the Faculty of International Theology in June 2018 and A Certificate from the University of Southern California for Public Safety & Leadership in December of 2019. Her inspiration comes from a quote by author and playwright William Shakespeare, “Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them”. Edwards believes that everyone has the potential for greatness and it’s our responsibility to seek the knowledge we desire and open the paradoxes in our minds.
Supporting others every day to believe in themselves and their dreams is what drives Edwards forward. Her mission is to inspire youth and show them that goals, dreams, and aspirations take time; nothing happens overnight. However, if they acquire the necessary tools of patience, consistency, and faith, one day their vision will soon be a reality because with God ALL things are possible.

In addition to her F.A.C.E. program, Edwards served as a chaplain for the Los Angeles chapter of the National Congress of Black Women from 2018-2020.
