What is F.A.C.E.?

OUR MISSION
is to empower and strengthen boys and
girls of all ages to become fearless,
independent and assertive . Exposing
them to self love and becoming
comfortable in their own skin. This will
inspire them to walk in their divine
purpose without fear but knowing that
all power is within them.

What F.A.C.E. Means to Me

For me, F.A.C.E. is what made me who I am now. I am fearless, I am artistic, I have charisma, I am elegant. I just want young girls and young boys to see that no matter what your past is, no matter what you go through, we can always overcome and triumph. I just believe that everything that happened to me was overcome by faith.

As for the future, Edwards goals is to have F.A.C.E. housed in a permanent building within the next five years. Her vision is to offer free programs in various disciplines including art, dance, ACT and PSAT classes, and counseling.

Additionally, F.A.C.E. has partnerships with the Los Angeles Police Department through Community Safety Partnership (CSP) and with the Los Angeles Housing Authority City Of Los Angeles (HACLA). Her community-wide involvement includes six public housing developments: Ramona Gardens, Jordan Downs, Nickerson Gardens, Avalon Gardens, Gonzaque Villages, and Imperial Courts. As a empowerment leader and instructor for F.A.C.E her enrichment efforts have extended to Crete Academy, a non-profit elementary charter school. Edwards is making a huge impact as a Chaplain of The National Council Of Black Women- Los Angeles Chapter by uplifting young women to take ownership of their “queenship”. This movement shifts their mindset to prosperous ideas that prepare young women to run for political offices.
